Description
The watch asked for dials that stay readable at the end of a twelve-hour shift, in air hot enough to fog ordinary glass. The face is cut in brass, the needle blued so it stands out against the glow, the danger arc a strip of ember enamel.

Took it down four hundred steps in January. The glass never fogged once.
Beautiful dial. I would like the atmospheres scale in bronze - maybe next winter.
